During times of inclement weather, decisions about school closings or delays will be made as early as prudently possible; announcements will follow via a number of communications channels:

The decision to close schools is determined by the ability for buses to navigate roads and safely distribute students throughout the district. School days missed must be made up on the bad weather make up days designated on the school calendar.

The following questions and answers are designed to help students and parents understand generally our school district’s emergency procedures. Please read them carefully. Emergency preparedness is ongoing. The main goal of the Boerne ISD is to prevent crises from happening. Once they do occur, then the goal is to minimize the harm to those involved.
